Wildlife

Chobe National Park is home to huge populations of elephant. In the dry season, you can watch them cross the Chobe River in search of fresh forage—this is one of the must-see wildlife experiences.

Experience

Game drives in Chobe National Park offer the chance to search for big cats. Guests can also enjoy boat safaris along the Chobe River, where incredible birdlife and creatures that reside in the river can be spotted. 

Impact

In addition to electric boats, vehicles, and all-female guides, over 65% of the lodge’s staff are women. There is also a youth training scheme, which has trained over 200 local young adults, many of whom now work at the lodge.

With 40 rooms, it is slightly larger than properties we would normally recommend. However, the lodge’s ethos, guiding, and location more than make up for its size.
