Kenya
Kenya is synonymous for safari, with big hitters like the Masai Mara, the iconic images of the elephants of Amboseli framed against Kilimanjaro and of the Masai people, with their red shukas and crafted jewellery. Kenya is pioneering a new vision of safari and conservation and how local people can benefit from protecting their land. The conservancies that are common across Kenya create an environment where visitors have incredible wildlife experiences and can spend time with local people in an authentic and mutually beneficial exchange.
We have been travelling to Kenya for nearly 25 years and know all the tricks to get you away from the crowds and stay at the best safari lodges and camps. To access parts of the Mara which are restricted, to be surrounded by elephants as they come in for their morning drink and to get you out on a walking safari exploring the rugged north. It is one of the only countries in Africa where you can travel comfortably by train, one of the best ways of combining a safari and beach holiday in Kenya.

South Africa
South Africa is a land of diverse landscapes, offering a safari experience like no other, from the wilds of Kruger National Park to the coastal beauty of the Garden Route. It’s a destination known for tracking the Big Five, but we love it for so much more than that. In South Africa you’ll meet incredible people, eat their food, a blend of modern cuisine with African, Malay and Dutch cultures fused and of course with world-class wines from the Cape Winelands. South Africa is also a pioneer in conservation, with many reserves actively working to protect endangered species and support local communities through sustainable tourism.
We’ve been guiding travelers through South Africa for over a decade, crafting tailor-made itineraries that balance iconic wildlife encounters with immersive cultural experiences. Whether it’s waking up to the sound of lions in the Kruger or discovering the rugged beauty of KwaZulu-Natal on a walking safari, our deep knowledge ensures you get the most out of your journey. South Africa also offers the unique opportunity to combine a wildlife safari with a self drive adventure.

Tanzania
Tanzania is a highlights reel of Africa’s most sought-after destinations and safari moments. Board a hot air balloon and silently float above the massing herds of the Great Migration; ascend Uhuru Peak on Kilimanjaro — the roof of Africa; or take a dhow trip on the crystal-clear waters off Zanzibar. These bucket-list experiences are incredible, but they don’t tell the full story of Tanzania. We want to take you away from the crowds, to remote areas of the Serengeti where you can walk alongside the great herds of wildebeest with only your guide and ranger as company, without another vehicle in sight.
Our local experts have access to community land untouched by other travellers. These unfenced areas border the more mainstream parks, creating experiences led by local people that you can’t find anywhere else. Imagine sleeping in mobile camps with vantage points over waterholes, on the banks of mud-churned rivers, and staying with communities that rarely see outside visitors. As well as offering exceptional experiences, we ensure that local communities benefit from our visits and see real value from tourism.
