Itinerary

Days 1 - 2

Arrival in Maun and Nxamaseri Island Camp

Your adventure starts in Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta, where you’ll board a short flight to Nxamaseri Island Camp. Located in the quieter Panhandle region, known for its deep channels and lush riverbanks, this is an ideal place to unwind after your international flight. The area is perfect for birdwatching, fishing, and boat safaris, providing a peaceful wildlife experience.

One of the reasons we choose this property is its strong connection to the local community. Alongside mokoro and boat rides, you’ll have the chance to engage with the local village. Here, you’ll learn traditional skills like reed weaving, fish trapping, and meal preparation from the local women—a true highlight for many guests.

Day 3

Overnight Adventure in Tsodilo Hills

Your itinerary includes a unique overnight stay in the Tsodilo Hills, where you’ll sleep in a modern pod inspired by the San Bushman’s traditional homes. This special experience is made possible through a partnership with the local San community, giving you an authentic connection to their culture. During your stay, explore the sacred landscape with a guide, viewing some of the 4,000+ ancient rock paintings. If you’re feeling adventurous, rise early to hike up the hills and watch the sunrise over Botswana’s highest point. For added excitement, travel between the hills and your camp by boat, or opt for a scenic helicopter transfer to fully appreciate the beauty of this World Heritage Site.

Wildlife viewing in the Okavango Delta

Next, you’ll journey deeper into the heart of the Okavango Delta, where you’ll stay at a handpicked safari camp renowned for its exceptional wildlife encounters. The Delta boasts some of Africa’s highest concentrations of lion, buffalo, and elephant, making it one of the continent’s best regions for wildlife viewing. During your three-day stay, you’ll explore this rich ecosystem through a range of activities, including exciting game drives, walking safaris, and traditional mokoro rides, depending on water levels. This carefully selected camp offers the perfect combination of location, guest comfort, and incredible wildlife viewing opportunities, ensuring an immersive and rewarding safari experience in one of Botswana’s most diverse natural landscapes.

Days 8 - 11

Victoria Falls Town

Your final stop is Victoria Falls Town, often called Africa’s adventure capital. Thrill-seekers can try white-water rafting, bungee jumping, gorge swinging, or even swimming in Devil’s Pool. For those seeking a slower pace, the town offers a growing cultural scene, with local restaurants supporting community projects and markets benefiting local initiatives. The main attraction, of course, is Victoria Falls itself, which can be viewed from both Zimbabwe and Zambia. We’ll help you plan the best time to visit the falls based on the seasonal water flow, ensuring you experience their full power. By supporting sustainable tourism and local businesses, you’ll also contribute to the community during your stay at this iconic destination.
