Wildlife
The camp is situated in an elephant dispersal zone, supporting citizen science and conservation initiatives. While lion and leopard are present, the most exciting aspect is some of the rarer species such as wild dog, aardwolf and reticulated giraffe.
Experience
Guests can enjoy a wide range of activities including game drives in classic Land Rovers, walking safaris, night drives, cave visits, horse riding, and community experiences. This variety is perfect for active travelers or families on safari in Kenya.
Impact
The camp employs 90% of its staff from 9 miles of the Lolldaiga Hills, supporting local communities and fostering meaningful interactions with guests. All camp structures are made from canvas and cob to avoid the use of cement.
About Safari Series
The Safari Series is a small tented camp designed as a base to explore this beautiful conservancy. The five tents all feature hot running water, en-suite facilities, and views of the waterhole. Days are spent at your own pace, which is the beauty of the Safari Series—there is no set agenda or timetable. A real highlight is spending time with the Maasai women’s group, learning from them and gaining a deeper understanding of their culture. The property overlooks a waterhole visited by elephants every morning, with a backdrop of Mount Kenya. The real charm here lies in the welcoming atmosphere created by the camp staff and owners, who invite you to explore their home.
