Locally sourced materials and Tanzanian artisans craft the camp’s tents in Arusha. The camp carefully minimises its environmental footprint by reducing power usage, conserving water, and ensuring its operations have minimal impact on the surrounding area.
About Wayo Serengeti Green Camp
Wayo Serengeti Green Camp features 10 guest tents and a large dining and mess area, offering comfort without excess. Designed to follow the Great Migration, the camp moves between the Northern Serengeti from July to October and the southern plains from December to March. Each tent is simple yet functional, with a large, mesh-covered front to maximise views of the Serengeti’s expansive landscapes. Guests can enjoy close encounters with wildlife while knowing the camp operates with minimal disruption to the land. The camp’s thoughtful approach ensures comfort while maintaining the integrity of the wild spaces it traverses.
